40's Vintage Button Collar Wool Blazer
Incredible 1940’s taupe wool blazer suit jacket with intricate button collar applique by Richard Kolmer. Buttons in a variety of sizes and shapes cover the entire collar and lapels in pearl, ivory, and light to dark brown colors. We believe these are all mother of pearl buttons - they are cold to the touch and harder than plastic buttons (but there could be a couple of plastic buttons mixed in). This is a very exquisite vintage piece with large brown buttons at sleeves, back, and front closure. In great vintage condition with waist pockets still sewn shut. Only thing to note is the lining shows a bit of wear; a couple of small holes near underarms (only in lining, not in outer wool fabric).
